Who is entitled to the State Ticket Rio de Janeiro?

The discount is granted to people born and residing in Rio de Janeiro, with proof on the day of the visit to validate the discount provided.

Who is entitled to half-price tickets?

The half-price ticket is located on the Bondinho Ticket page, just select the ticket you want and, after choosing the date of the tour, you will find the options below:

  • Senior citizens (nationals or foreigners) aged 60 or over.
  • Children (nationals or foreigners) aged 3 to 12.

Other tickets:

  • Young people (nationals or foreigners) aged between 13 and 21.
  • PCD and companion (nationals and foreigners)
  • Students (national or foreign) from public or private schools.
  • Teachers and employees of the municipal public school system in the city of Rio (in accordance with established law)
  • ID Jovem (Young people enrolled in the Brazilian Federal Government's Social Programs and aged up to 29).Please note: Children aged 0 to 2 do not pay and half-price tickets are not cumulative with other discount options.
Who is entitled to the Promotional Ticket for Brazilians?

The discount is granted to those born or resident in Brazil.

All you need to show for the discount is an official photo ID (original or digital) with "Brazilian" written on it. In the case of foreigners residing in the country, proof is provided with a passport or official photo ID accompanied by proof of residence (original or digital) in their own name.

Tickets for children

Children up to the age of 2 get in free, while those aged 3 to 12 pay half price.

Children between the ages of 0 and 2 must show proof of age with an official photo ID or birth certificate (original or certified copy) and be accompanied by a legal guardian of legal age.

Fast Pass Ticket

Enjoy preferential queue access at all cable car stations and VIP lounge reception at the first station to make the most of your day in the Park.

You will have the flexibility of 7 operating days after the date chosen for the tour. Check the park's opening hours on the day you want to visit.

The ticket can only be used once for each section and is limited to the same day.

Operation on rainy days

Yes, we are open and operate normally on rainy days, we have covered areas with stores and gastronomic options. We remind you that your tickets have a flexibility of 7 calendar days from the date chosen for the tour and can be used once within this period.

Pleasenote: In the event of strong winds and/or lightning there may be a temporary stoppage until the weather conditions allow the streetcars to function properly.

We are located at Av Pasteur, 520 - Urca, Rio de Janeiro.

Subway - Get off at Botafogo station, exit E - Mena Barreto. Walk to the 513 bus stop on Rua Voluntários da Pátria and get off at UNIRIO. From there, walk 260m to Bondinho Park.

Bicycle - Parque Bondinho does not have a bicycle rack. But you can leave your bike near the newsstand in front of the Árabe restaurant in Urca, very close to the Parque Bondinho. Bring your lock. On Av Pasteur there is also a Bike Itaú station just before.

Car - We don't have a rotating parking lot, but we've listed some nearby parking lots for you:

Shopping Rio Sul - Rua Lauro Muller, 116 - Botafogo

Shopping Casa & Gourmet - Rua Gen. Severiano, 97 - Botafogo

Tip: If possible, leave your car at home so you can enjoy the day more peacefully. ;)

Ferry - Visitors from Niterói, Ilha do Governador and Paquetá can take the ferry that stops at Praça XV. From there, walk to Largo da Carioca (740m), or take Line 2 of the VLT to Cristiano Ottoni - Pequena África station, and take bus 107 (Central). Get off at UNIRIO and walk 180m to Bondinho Park.

Buses - The main lines to get to Parque Bondinho are:

107 - Central - Urca (Brs 1 - via Praia do Flamengo)

513SP - Urca - Metrô Botafogo (Via Rio Sul - Integration with metro)
