Rio residents get a special price!

The discount is granted to individuals born in or residing in any city within the State of Rio de Janeiro, upon proof on the day of the visit. To validate the discount, you may present:

Born Adults: Official photo ID. The document may be presented in digital format, photo, or printed.

Resident Adults: Proof of residence in your name (water, gas, electricity, cell phone, internet, credit card, or phone bill) and official photo ID. If the resident does not have proof of residence in their own name, they may present a marriage certificate or civil union document, along with an official photo ID and proof of residence in the spouse’s name. All documents may be presented digitally, as photos, or in printed format.

Resident or Born Children (ages 3 to 12): Original birth certificate or official photo ID that confirms the child's relationship to the residence holder. All documents may be presented digitally, as photos, or in printed format.

It is possible to cancel or reschedule orders made through the website under the following conditions, regarding the scheduled time for the tour:

• 24 hours or more in advance: It will be possible to cancel and reschedule an unlimited number of times, subject to availability.
• Less than 24 hours in advance until the tour starts: It will be possible to reschedule only once, based on the Park’s availability. After rescheduling, no further changes can be made, regardless of the new scheduled time. Cancellations will be allowed with 20% of the ticket value withheld by Parque Bondinho.
• After the scheduled time has begun: Unfortunately, cancellation or rescheduling will not be possible, and 100% of the ticket value will be retained, even in case of a no-show.

Subway (Metrô)

• Get off at Botafogo Station, exit E - Mena Barreto. Walk to the final stop of bus 513 on Rua Voluntários da Pátria, and get off at UNIRIO. From there, walk 260 meters to Parque Bondinho.

The main bus lines to Parque Bondinho are:

• 107 – Central – Urca (BRS1 – via Praia do Flamengo)

• 513SP – Urca – Botafogo Subway (Via Rio Sul – Integrated with the subway)

• 167 - Terminal Gentileza - Urca (Circular - via Praia do Flamengo)

Car

Parque Bondinho does not have a parking lot, but here are some nearby parking options:

• Shopping Rio Sul – Rua Lauro Muller, 116 – Botafogo

• Botafogo Praia Shopping – Praia de Botafogo, 400 – Botafogo

• Shopping Casa & Gourmet – Rua Gen. Severiano, 97 – Botafogo

Bicycle

Parque Bondinho does not offer a bike rack. However, you may park your bike near the newsstand in front of the Árabe da Urca restaurant, close to Parque Bondinho. Please bring your own lock. There is also an Itaú Bike station available nearby on Av. Pasteur.

Ferry (Barcas)

Visitors from Niterói, Ilha do Governador, and Paquetá can take the ferry to Praça XV. From there, walk 740 meters to Largo da Carioca, or take VLT Line 2 to Cristiano Ottoni - Pequena África Station, then take bus 107 (Central). Get off at UNIRIO and walk to Parque Bondinho.

NOT ALLOWED:

• Filming or photographing for commercial purposes without prior authorization.

• Carrying or using drones.

• Entering with large materials (e.g., tripods, musical instruments, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers/ice chests, bulky costumes, suitcases, or items larger than 25 x 35 x 55 cm).

• Bringing glass bottles, cups, or any glass containers.

• Entering with coolers and/or bags of ice.

• Entering or remaining shirtless, in swimwear, or barefoot.

• Bringing skateboards, scooters, roller skates, or shoes with built-in wheels, bicycles, or similar items.

• Bringing balls, balloons, or inflatables.

• Visitors under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

• Planting or removing plant species.

• Engaging in any form of environmental vandalism.

• Feeding, approaching, or hunting animals.

• Carrying firearms, ammunition, self-defense devices (pepper spray, stun guns), sharp or pointed objects.

• Bringing flammable or explosive objects or liquids.

• Playing loud music, using horns, whistles, large megaphones, or other noise-making devices, as well as playing musical instruments.

• Holding any form of demonstrations or protests.

• Bringing animals, except for guide dogs and emotional support dogs, with proper documentation.

• Using park restrooms for bathing.

• Entering while wearing helmets or face coverings – LAW 6717/14.

• Selling any products or services without prior authorization.

• Promoting any form of criminal activity.
